A sample Growth Leverage Map
Every growth diagnostic ends with a one-page Growth Leverage Map. This is what that page looks like, filled in for a company we invented for the purpose. The company is fictional. The structure, the ranking logic and the level of specificity are exactly what you'd take away from the call.
This company does not exist. Findings are illustrative, built to show the artifact, not to imply results · Published 2026-07-19
00 · The input
The fictional company, stated
"Meridian" (invented): a B2B SaaS with a self-serve trial and a sales-assisted tier. Acquisition runs on paid search and founder content. Two people touch sales part-time. The symptoms they'd bring to the call: trials are steady but sales-assisted deals move slowly, follow-ups depend on who remembers, and reporting lives in three tools that disagree. Thirty minutes of mapping later, this is the page they'd leave with.
01 · The map
Top constraints, ranked
| Rank | Stage | Finding | Spreads to |
|---|---|---|---|
| CONSTRAINT | CRM / handoff | Trial users who request a demo enter a manual handoff with no owner and no SLA. Hot leads wait, some are never contacted at all. This caps everything downstream of acquisition. | Automation · Retention · Expansion |
| AFFECTED | Automation | Follow-ups and reminders run on personal memory. Fixing this before the handoff owns nothing: automating an ownerless process industrializes the gap. | Retention |
| AFFECTED | Analytics | Three tools, three numbers. Reporting can't confirm any fix until the pipeline and billing agree on one dataset. | Every budget decision |
| WATCH | Landing | Trial page message-matches the founder content well and the ads poorly. Real, but smaller than the handoff, and cheaper to test after it. | Conversion |
The severity idiom is the point: one CONSTRAINT, the stages it drags down, and what merely needs watching. A map with five "critical" findings is a to-do list wearing a diagnosis. A system has one binding constraint at a time, and the discipline of naming it is most of the artifact's value.
02 · The sequence
Why the order matters
| Order | Move | Why here |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Instrument the handoff | Timestamps on request → first response → outcome. Two days of plumbing that turns the constraint from a feeling into a number, and becomes the baseline every later fix is judged against. |
| 2 | Ownership + SLA on the handoff | One intake, one owner per lead, a response deadline with escalation. Attacks the constraint itself. |
| 3 | Automate the follow-up layer | Now the process has owners and rules, automation multiplies something that works instead of something that leaks. |
| 4 | Unify reporting | One dataset across pipeline and billing, so the next constraint is found with numbers, not opinions. |
Notice what the sequence refuses to do: touch the landing page first, buy a new tool, or add traffic. Until the constraint moves, spending anywhere else buys decoration.
03 · On the call
How this gets made in 30 minutes
You talk, we map your funnel onto the eight-stage Growth System live. We rank the leaks by what they cost you, constraints and the highest-leverage opportunities both. You keep the page, whether or not we ever talk again, and if the right fix isn't something we sell, the map says so. That's the whole mechanism: get yours here, or run the 3-minute Growth Score first to see where your system stands.
Published under our publication standard: the company is declared fictional, every finding is illustrative, and no figure appears without its assumptions. Your map gets built from your actual funnel, on the call.

One 30-minute growth diagnostic on your actual funnel: the constraints slowing growth and the opportunities with the highest leverage, ranked by what they cost you, whether the fix is positioning, CRM or AI automation. You leave with the one-page Growth Leverage Map and a prioritized fix sequence, whether or not we ever talk again.
